LEE, Wilfred – of Davison, age 85, passed away on November 22, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be Monday November 28, 2022, from 11 AM-8 PM and before the service on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Midwest Faceters Guild and the Flint Rock and Gem Club.
Willie was born in Forest Township, MI on February 23, 1937, son of the late Lloyd and Betty (Raney) Lee. He married Mary Rivers on December 31,1955 and she preceded him in death on July 13, 2014. Willie proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved to be outdoors, spending time fishing, hunting and travelling. He liked rock hunting. Willie enjoyed the time he spent with his grandkids. His favorite author was William Johnstone, and Willie kept a large collection of his books. He was an avid Detroit Lions and Michigan State fan, rarely missing a game.
Willie is survived by his children, Joel (Leeanne) Lee, James (Jackie) Lee, Dianna (Joe) Dunaway and Donna Lee; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee; brother, Roger (Mary) Lee; and sister, Eleanor Campbell.
