ANDERSON, Virginia L. – was reunited with the love of her life on May 3rd, 2023. Her beloved husband of 67 years, Norman Anderson, passed away in 2018. Virginia spent the last 5 years talking about how she was looking forward to seeing him again.
Virginia lived a long, happy life and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Savage; son, Michael Anderson, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
Virginia spent her younger years traveling in her GMC Motorhome and square dancing with her husband. She also enjoyed playing the dulcimer. The last 5 years of her life were spent with her caring daughter. She enjoyed their long car rides. Every day was a new adventure for her!
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, 2 granddaughters and her brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Robert Taylor officiating. Interment will take place following the service in Richfield Union Cemetery. The family will receive visitors the hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, in Virginia’s memory.
