ESSA, Nathalie – of Davison, MI, age 97, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Per Nathalie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John Essa. Nathalie was the daughter of late Ralph and Eva Hare. She was a graduate of Northern High School in 1945 and began working at the phone company until her marriage in 1948.
Nathalie loved golf, playing on a league until she was 92 when COVID closed the courses. She loved crossword puzzles, games, traveling and was an avid reader, often finishing a book a day.
Nathalie was warm, friendly and loved to laugh. She was kind and loving. Always bringing joy and comfort to those around her. Her family will miss her infectious laughter, her kind heart, sense of humor and countless moments of love, laughter and happiness. Her memory will be forever cherished by all who knew her and her family that loved her, Bridget, Jim, Matthew, Colette and Eric.
