Wilhelm, Herberta L. (Cooper) went to be with her beloved Lord and husband (Robert). She was born April 13, 1927. The daughter of William E. and Elma P. (Eagan) Cooper. Graduated from Flint Central High School February 1945 and GMI in 1946. Married her beloved husband (Robert D. Wilhelm) May 1948 and he passed away September 2008 after over 60 years of a blessed marriage. She worked at McKinnon & Mooney 1946-1948, Flint Board of Education at Flint Central High School from August 1948-June 1984. She loved traveling, collecting teddy bears, angels, cherished teddies, bells, collector plates and dolls. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Tuesday December 15, 2020 starting with visitation at 12 pm, with service to follow at 1 pm, at St. Paul Lutheran Church 402 S. Ballenger Hwy, Flint, MI. Pastor David Hensler will officiate. She was a member at St. Paul Lutheran Church since 1949. Surviving are sister Jacqueline Brooks, Sister-in-law Joyce Gilespie of Ocean Springs, Miscellaneous extended family includes Mary Eileen Eckles and the Gigliotti family from Greeley Colorado. Cousins Debbie Reid and Carol Reynolds. Godsons Gregory Koch and Bradley Koch. Contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or a Charity of ones choice.
