TROMLEY, Ronald Durwin – Of Grand Blanc, age 81, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the Swartz funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplain Todd Gillert officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial visitation will be held at 12 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Ronald was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on June 3, 1937 the son of Durwin and Emma (Shade) Tromley.
Ron was admired for his strong will and determination.
His commitments and accomplishments included serving in the Marine Corps, licensed cosmetology, instructing at Michigan Beauty Academy, owning a salon, retiring from GM Fisher Body Grand Blanc, EAP rep, Kroger employee and 35 years sponsorship in AA and EA.
Strategically placing himself where he may reach out to help others, Ron was well known in the community for his good humor and acquired many friends.
He will be missed by his wife and kids, grand and great, who shared his favorite hobbies of fishing, poker nights, casino and Disney trips.
