Gean Jr., Robert- of Birch Run, age 58, died Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Covenant Healthcare of Saginaw. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. No services at this time.
Robert was born January 29, 1964, in New Port Rhode Island, to Robert Gean and Deanna (Hoose) Maitland. Robert married Linda Schmitzer, June 28, 1985, they spent 37 wonderful years together. He was a member of Saint Martin Lutheran Church. Robert loved sports and the outdoors. Everyone that knew him will remember his laughter. Above all he will be greatly missed by many. Robert suffered from M.S. for 26 years. We want to thank his aide Liddie Baker who took such good care of him and became a part of our family.
Surviving are: Wife: Linda Gean; Son: Derreck Gean; Daughter: Megan Gean; Mother: Deanna Maitland; Sisters: Rebecca (Keith) Grady, Suzanne (Scott) West and Ora (Rick) Holbrook; Brother: George Maitland; several nieces and nephews.
