Paula Kay Stiven (Phelps) Age 71, of Burton, Michigan was called home on Angel's wings to be with the Father on Sunday, August 21, 2022.
The family invites you to attend the visitation for Paula from 4:00pm-8:00-pm on Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Paula Kay Stiven will be laid to rest with a Christian Burial at 1:00pm on Friday, August 26th at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.
She was born to the late Lucille Margaret Fain and Bill Phelps on August 27th, 1950 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She came to Michigan with her mother as a young girl so her mother could work for General Motors. Paula Kay Stiven is a beloved mother, grandmother and friend. She always brought a smile to anyone she spoke to. Paula worked for Goodrich Public Schools, Burton Bendle Public Schools and St. John's Catholic Church in Davison, Michigan all as a custodian. Everyone loved her hard work and dedication to her jobs.
Paula Kay Stiven is survived by her 2 sons, Eric Stiven of Burton, Michigan and Jason Stiven of Grand Blanc, Michigan with his family including; Jason's wife, Kristin Taylor-Stiven and Paula's beloved granddaughters, Alexis Stiven and Madelyn Stiven; Jason's father-in-law, Gene Taylor of Burton, Michigan; Jason's mother-in-law, Rose Taylor had passed away in 2011 and loved her granddaughters and seeing them almost every day.
Paula had 9 Aunts and Uncles including Dororthy, Irene, Mable, Phyllis and Jack; and a very close cousin, Gary Risinger, who resides in Baltimore, Maryland, who loved Paula dearly;
Also surviving Paula are her beloved nephews, Joe Willhoite and Jacob Phelps;
And beloved nieces, Megan Ann Phelps, Kaylee Phelps, Brooklyn Phelps and Hannah Phelps.
Special mention is made to Megan Phelps, and her mother, Becky Ann Phelps and Brian Plunkett of Burton, Michigan who have been a lifelong friend of Paula's and to Becky's Grandsons, Arye Deehl and Josh Deehl, born to Megan Phelps and Josh Deehl.
Paula is also preceded in death by Jerry Stiven, her only husband of 13 years who mostly lived in Northern, Michigan. Jerry was 74 years old when he passed away on December 16, 2015 and her nephew, Casey Phelps passed away in 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family in the care of Swartz Funeral Home.
Rest in peace our beloved Paula, where one day we will all rejoice in Heaven.
