June M. Rowe, of Linden, Michigan, age 82, died Friday, May 28, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at her home. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her honor to N.G.A. Inc., Flint Branch.
June was born in Owosso, Michigan on February 13, 1939, the daughter of Theodore and Alice (Matousek) Klempirik. She graduated from Owosso High School in 1957, later graduating from Eastern Michigan University in 1961, earning a BA in Education. Her life was dedicated to her family as she so adored her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, collecting cookbooks and sharing her favorite recipes. She was very proud of her Czechoslovakian heritage and particularly enjoyed making these dishes with her family. Living on the lake with her husband John and viewing the spectacular sunsets brought her great joy.
June is survived by her husband, John A. Rowe; children, Dawnali (Michael) Bailey and Scott Douglas VanBrocklin; step-children, John C. Rowe and David A. Rowe; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Flagg and Carol (Bus) Spaniola; and many extended relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Alice Klempirik and brother-in-law, Larry Flagg.
