VISNAW, Patricia E. (Damoth) – Of Swartz Creek, MI, age 82, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 19, 2015. She will be deeply missed.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Susan Bennett Stiles officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 8p.m. Thursday and 11;30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Patricia was born in Flint, Michigan on September 9, 1932 and resided in Flint most of her life.
On June 16, 1951 she married Billie G. Visnaw in Flint.
Mrs. Visnaw retired from Beecher School Food Services after 25 years of service.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Visnaw and Anthony (Linda) Visnaw;
two daughters, Gail (Tom) Forbes and Sharon Abbey (Joseph Gurzick);
son-in-law, John Prevost;
10 grandchildren;
12 great-grandchildren;
three sisters, Delores Damoth, Nancy Damoth and Jeanette Loasching.
She was preceded in death by husband, Billie G. Visnaw; daughter, Denise Prevost; parents, Wellington and Mary (Musselman) Damoth; brothers, William and Theodore Damoth.
The family would like to thank McLaren Hospice and nurse, Mary Ann and aide, Debra, for the kindness they showed taking care of our mother and sister.
