COYKENDALL, Clinton “Buster” – Of Mt. Morris, age 66, died Monday, January 6, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Brian Southerland officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner’s Crippled Children’s Hospital.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Clinton was born in Flint, Michigan on October 17, 1953, the son of the late Floyd and Evelyn (McGuinn) Coykendall.
He served in Vietnam the U.S. Army.
On August 10, 1991 he married Deborah Hasman.
He golfed in a league at Briar Ridge Golf Course. He loved riding his Harley and working on his 1969 Camaro RSSS. He also loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his family.
Mr. Coykendall was employed by Buick Motor Division for many years and retired from Flint Truck & Bus in 2012.
Surviving are wife, Debbie;
4 children, Anndreya (Matt) Jaworski, Kristy (Ron) Gardner,
Cheri (Daryll) Rosell and Mark (Ashley);
7 grandchildren, Hannah, Austin, Jacob, Katelyn, Declan, Ellori and Teagan;
sisters, Debbie Coykendall and Julie Coykendall;
brother, Robbie Coykendall; several nieces and nephews.
