CROSBY, Gerald “Jerry” Devere – of Davison, MI, age 79, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service, conducted under the auspices of the Michigan State F.O.E. Aerie, will be held 6 PM Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423, followed by a Memorial Service, conducted under the auspices of the Davison Eagles F.O.E. Aerie #3589. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the Memorial Service on Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Davison Eagles Building Fund in Jerry's name.
Jerry was born in Saginaw, MI on December 31. 1943, son of the late Harold and Leona (Kreger) Crosby. He married Anna Marie Popp on September 3,1988 and she preceded him in death on August 19, 2018. Jerry was member of the Davison F.O.E. #3589 since May 9, 1995 and held many positions, including president from 1998-2000 and 2006-2007. He also served as president for the Michigan State F.O.E. Aerie from 2015-2016. Jerry enjoyed playing pool and spending his time at Davison F.O.E. He will be missed by all.
Jerry is survived by his son, Kevin (Melissa) Crosby; 2 stepchildren, Trevor (Carolyn) Botkins and Cindy (Terry) Jock; grandchildren, TJ (Megan) Botkins, Collin Vollmers, Devin (Mikala) Tedford, Kirsten Jock, Tanner Jock and Hannah Crosby; great-grandchildren, Emma, Brooke, Cash, Oakley and Lynleigh; and many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Leona Crosby; wife, Anna Crosby; son, Troy Crosby; and step-daughter, Dawn Botkins.
