JoAnn Robinson of Otisville, a beacon of love and spirited intelligence, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025, at the age of 93 in Clio. Born on November 10, 1931, in Flint, Michigan, to Hester and Louise Humphreys, JoAnn's life was a tapestry of dedication to her family, a passion for life, and a legacy of warmth that touched everyone she knew.

JoAnn's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family. She was a cherished mother to Douglas (Cindy) Robinson, Denise (Pete) Serr, and Deborah Lorenz. Her brother, Donald (Linda) Humphreys, shared in the joys and sorrows of life with her. JoAnn's spirit will live on through her adoring grandchildren, Kelli (Luke), Krystal (Travis), Tony, Jarred (Jenna), and Jason (Darcey), and her great-grandchildren, Harry, Rocky, Everlee, and Kyler, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest, her parents, her brother Hester, and her in-laws Ernest and Florence Robinson, JoAnn's memory will be a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

JoAnn's life was one of service and contribution. A member of the West Forest Methodist Church, she was deeply involved in her community, always eager to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Her professional life was diverse and fulfilling. JoAnn sold Avon products, bringing beauty and joy into the homes of many. She also served as a teacher's assistant and bus driver for Mayville Schools, where she nurtured countless young minds and ensured their safety. Her dedication to her community continued as she worked in the Flint billing department of Consumers Energy, where her intelligence and attention to detail were greatly valued.

Beyond her professional and community service, JoAnn had a zest for life that was contagious. She was an avid bowler, her competitive spirit shining through each game. Fishing and hunting with her husband were among her cherished pastimes, creating memories that would last a lifetime. JoAnn also had a love for golf, finding peace and camaraderie on the greens. The thrill of snowmobiling brought her joy during the winter months, and at one time she gracefully glided across the dance floor square dancing with her husband. These interests were more than hobbies; they were the threads of connection, joy, and adventure in JoAnn's life.

Described by those who knew her as loving, spirited, and intelligent, JoAnn's impact on the world was profound. Her warmth radiated to all corners of her life, from the gentle guidance she provided to her children and grandchildren to the kindness she extended to friends and strangers alike. Her spirit was a testament to the beauty of a life well-lived, one filled with laughter, learning, and love.
