CROWDER, MADELINE “JANE” (Watters) – Formerly of Flint and Traverse City, age 81, died Friday, June 16, 2023 in Hadley, Michigan.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jane was born in Goodrich, Michigan on January 24, 1942, the daughter of the late Charles and Madeline Watters.
Jane retired from Buick after 30 years of service and Chateau Chantal Winery in Traverse City.
Surviving are step-son, Michael (Tamara) Crowder;
two step-grandchildren, Michael (Kelsey) Crowder and Matthew (Ashley) Crowder;
three step-great-grandchildren, Hayden, Cash and Teagan;
sister, Barbara Allan; brother, Jim (Janie) Watters;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvern, in 2019; 2 brothers, Jack and Kenneth Watters.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
