COUNELIS, Colleen Jean (Kelly) - Of Mt. Morris, age 83, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side.
Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Dan Shinabarger officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Dalis To The Rescue.
Visitation 4-8pm Monday, October 3, 2022 and 10am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Colleen was born in Flint, Michigan on November 24, 1938, the daughter of the late Stanley and Thelma Kelly. Colleen enjoyed crafting, shopping and spending time with her family.
Surviving are Tammy (Ralph) Collins, Annette Latimer (Timothy Latimer, deceased), John (Brenda) Counelis, James (Linda) Counelis, Jeff Counelis, Jerry Counelis, Jack (Jonilee) Counelis and Joanne Counelis;
20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren;
brothers, Ronald (Geri) Kelly and Kevin (Dorie) Kelly;
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, James, daughter, Judy Counelis, sons, Jan Counelis and Jorge Counelis.
