HAZLEWOOD, Jeffrey "Jake" - Age 58, of Burton, passed away July 11, 2022. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Linden Fire Department. Jeffrey was born March 23, 1964 in Flint, the son of William J. and Patricia Sue (Morris) Hazlewood. He had been employed by the City of Linden, Department of Public Works and then with the City of Fenton, Department of Public Works for many years. He served as a reserve police officer and volunteer fire fighter for the City of Linden. Jeffrey enjoyed hunting and refurbishing guns. He was an avid die cast collector and loved to sing and do karaoke. He is survived by his wife, Christine; daughter, Nicole (Casey); granddaughter, Violet; mother, Patricia; siblings, Mike (Kathy), Roger (Jane), Debbie (Dave), Tammy (Matt) and Brian (Rachel); father and mother-in-law, Derek and Shirley Miller; brother-in-law, Ricardo (Nichole) Lazo; sister-in-law, Erika (Nate) Weatherford; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William Hazlewood; sisters, Connie Fidge and Laurie Kathryn; sister-in-law, Jamie Miller. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
