STILES, Sonia Fay Age 52, of Bear Lake passed away on Monday, June 20th at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Tony Umber officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to help the family with funeral expenses.
Visitation 12 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Born Sonia Fay Couch on July 6, 1969 in Flint, MI to Floyd Sherwood Couch and Betty Jane Holtz.
She married Alan Jon Stiles in Flint on December 1, 1997.
Sonia was a caring, compassionate, selfless woman and was the center stone of her family.
She was an avid fisher and had a passion for gardening, both in vegetable and flower gardens.’ Was also a devoted dog mom to her German Shepherd, Sheba.
Sonia was devoted to her husband children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Couch, grandparents, Margaret Kingsbury and Robert Ray Couch; step-dad, Jerald Kingsbury; uncle, Dennis Couch and her niece, Jessica Baker.
She leaves behind her husband, Alan Stiles, her four children, son Travis Stiles, son Ryan Stiles, daughter Heather Boudreau , and daughter Laura Washburn; mother, Betty Couch-Baker, sisters ,Laurine Arnold, Debra Sjolander , Debbie Larubio and Denise Couch and brother, Robert Couch and her 9 grandchildren, who were her pride and joy;
