GARRETT, Sandra Kay – of Wesley Chapel, Florida, formerly of Clio, age 77 went home to be with her Lord on Sunday August 16, 2020 at her daughter’s residence with her family by her side. A private family service will take place in Michigan. Sandra was born on October 9, 1942 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter to the late Arthur and Kathleen (Taeckens) Osborn. She was raised in Flint and attended Flint Central High School where she graduated with the Class of 1960. She earned her degree in nursing and became a Registered Nurse, working for several hospitals in the Flint area. She later finished her career as a nurse caring for inmates at the Genesee County Jail. She was married to Robert S. Gibson and later married Dr. Gary D. Garrett DO. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are: her beloved daughters, Robin (John) Gibson-Hutto, Kellie (Doug) Grace, Jennifer Gibson-Lamb and Amy (Steven) Lum; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
