KEITH, ARTHUR RAY – Of Flint, age 95, died Thursday, May 11, 2023 at his residence.
Arthur was born in Piggott, Arkansas on February 10, 1928, the son of the late John Ray and Ira Mae (Glasco) Keith.
When he was just a baby, his family moved to Flint, Michigan, where his brother, Edward Lee Keith and sister, Janis Layne Keith were born.
Arthur served 3 years in the U.S. Army as a Medical Technician.
He was employed with General Motors as an electrician, retiring in 1998 and built a house in Grand Blanc Township. He married Madalon Clark in 1958 and raised daughter, Carolyn and sons Paul and Mark.
Art was an avid woodworker and pilot. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association attending many conventions and eventually building his own airplane.
Surviving are wife, Madalon;
daughter, Carolyn (Denny) Carroll;
sons, Paul (Mick) Clark;
daughter-in-law, Brenda Clark;
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Art was preceded in death by his brother, Edward; sister, Janis and son, Mark Clark.
Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
