Age 82 of Corunna, passed away Saturday January 12, 2019.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Wednesday January 16, 2019 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor John Walworth officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday January 15 from 4pm to 8pm.
Ronnie was born July 25, 1936 in Pikeville, Kentucky; the son of Bill and Eva Compton.
He attended Pike County School in Kentucky.
Ronnie married Dorothy "Dottie" Ferrell. They have been married for 62 years.
He spent his years working as a fork lift driver for General Motors.
Ronnie enjoyed all sports, especially baseball. He liked playing pool and putzing around on his lawn mower in his yard but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Dottie; his children Anita Oginsky, Richard Compton, Laura Martin and Joel Compton; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Edward (Sharon) Compton; several nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
Ronnie was predeceased by his parents; 3 sisters and one brother.
