GURSKI RENO, Melanie – Of Flint, age 43, died peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at her residence.
Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Russ Greenfield officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Eastern Michigan Food Bank or charity of one's choice.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 12 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Melanie was born in Milton, Florida on January 10, 1971, the
daughter of Theodore J. Gurski, Jr. and Sandra K. (Tate) Thompson.
She loved her family, loved to cook, read and watch movies.
Surviving are father, Ted and wife Linda Gurski;
mother, Sandy Thompson;
sisters, Ashley (Brad) Carto and Joan Ireland;
uncle and aunts, Eric (Mary) Tate, Theresa Parmer, Robin Tate-Johnson, Linda (Denny) Griggs and Mary Higdon;
nephews and niece, Joey, Kayla, Bradley and Bentlee;
many cousins;
very dear friend, Chad Sterba.
She was preceded in death by step-sister, Barbara Gurski.
