Holly Gay (Rehil) White, age 62, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2022. Holly was born in Flint, Michigan on December 2, 1959, to the late William and Margaret (Banner) Rehil. She married Marc White on September 20, 1986. Holly was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Danner Rehil Despain, father William Rehil, stepfather William Despain, stepmother Sandra Jill Rehil and sister Kim Walton.

Holly enjoyed many activities; her favorite was watching the children’s smiles on Christmas Eve when she showered them with love and presents. Holly’s love and caring was felt by many organizations and charities; The Old News Boys of Flint, the Food Bank, the Bay City Shelter and the Vietnam Memorial to name a few. Her hobbies included Hockey, puzzles, Legos and reading. Making rock candy and chocolates, distributing to friends, family and the whole crew at work. Holly donated many handmade blankets to the hospital and shelter, she loved making blankets. Family was the most important part of her life.

Holly is survived by her husband Marc, children; Kory (Jill-fiancé) White, grandchildren; Jordan, Jadie, Jon and Josey, Aimee (Curt) Genow and grandson Jimmy Genow, Marc (Tony) (Shannon) White, and grandchildren Savannah, Dakotah and Athena White. Brother, David (Betty) Walton, niece Alysia (Ricco) Aleman, children Jessie and Alessandra, our Hockey Daughter, Ciara Goodwin. Sister’s; Debi (Rich) Bowen, children Andrea Schott, Brandee Roberts, and Richie, Dayla (Owen) Mitchell, niece’s; Rochelle Wangler, daughters Alissa and Jenna. Niece Susan Kwiatkowski, children Kenzie and Chase, niece, April Valenzuela, son Justin, and the rest of the Valenzuela family, nephews; Matt and Mark Wangler. Holly’s mom’s family from Pennsylvania, with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Holly loved our neighbor Barb Divine and treated her like mom. Sisters Denise, Anita and Veda, and brothers Eric, Lynn and Kevin.

Holly retired after working for Consumers Power for 33 years and was well liked because of her work ethic, knowledge, skill and loving nature. Dave Joos once the president of the company even gave her an open letter to be rehired after raising Kory because of her outstanding record. Holly leaves behind her closest friends from work; Russ, Matt, Sue, Jim and Judy. Personal friends include the Christy’s, the Neetzs, the Rants, the Goodwins, the Wynns, Fabienne, the Richards family, the Kerkaus, and the Derosias, James and Heather.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel, Kawkawlin, Michigan. Family will greet friends on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 3:00 – 8:00 pm and Monday, January 17, 2022, from 1:00 – 8:00 pm at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel.
