BENSON, Geraldine Gail – of Davison, MI age 82, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at The Pines of Goodrich Memory Care. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Gerry’s memory.
Geraldine was born in Mt. Morris, MI on November 30, 1939, daughter of the late Werner and Eva (Pease) Stange. She married Woodbridge Albin Benson on February 8, 1958 at Bethany Presbyterian Church and he preceded her in death in 2005. Geraldine did bookkeeping for numerous businesses. She was a member of the Women’s Bowling Association and Flint Eagles 269. Geraldine was an avid golfer.
Geraldine is survived by her children, JoAnn (John) Gioventu, Cathy (JB) Hall and Eric (Jennifer) Benson; grandchildren, Angie Armstrong, Tyler Hall and Samantha Bennett; great grandchildren, Abigail and Jack Armstrong, Sullivan Bennett; sister, Marie Davidson; niece, Renee Blinya.
