MADDEN, Nancy Louise – of Burton, MI age 72, passed away in her home on Monday, September 19, 2022 after an extended illness. Nancy was born in Flint, MI on May 23, 1950, to Roy E. and Norma L. (Steiner) Madden.
Following her graduation from Flint Northwestern High School and then Western Michigan University, she served as a dedicated employee of the State of Michigan personnel department for her entire professional career. Nancy ‘s attention to detail, dedication and kind heart, garnered the appreciation of her co-workers and fostered many life-long friendships.
Nancy was a caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed music, dancing and socializing with friends. Though quiet and reserved, she was sincere, giving and thoughtful all of her days.
Nancy was survived by her mother, Norma Madden; brothers, Dennis (Kay) Madden and Gary (Leslie) Madden; sister, Connie (Richard) Mark; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and dear friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Roy Madden; her niece Denise Madden; and nephews, Jeffrey Madden and W. Douglas Boyer.
A private ceremony will be held in her honor at her final resting place in the Flushing City Cemetery at a future date.
Nancy’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the loving care she received in the final days from Bristol Hospice-Mid Michigan.
