Robinson, Ruth Louise - Age 93, formerly of Swartz Creek, passed away May 18, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 21, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek, 5372 Seymour Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Thursday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek, 5372 Seymour Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Ruth was born August 30, 1932, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of James and Margaret (Wells) Russell. She was a 1950 graduate of Fenton High School and attended Baker College and Mott Community College. Ruth married Wallace L. Robinson on August 24, 1951, and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2014. She worked at her parents’ China shop, Magill & Co., and later retired from Delco Products in 1985. She was an active volunteer in her community, including Scouting, the International Institute, Youth for Understanding, and various roles throughout her church life. Most recently she was a beloved member of the First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek. Surviving are: four children, Robin (Helder) Rozario, Robert (Patti) Robinson, Sheri Greenwell and Sharlene (Michael) Durbin; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Louise (James) Agle; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Russell; husband, Wallace L. Robinson; and sister, Gwen Laurie Mudge.
