Joyce Marie Margrif, 77, of Davison formerly of North Branch, died Thursday December 21, 2023. She was born October 10, 1946 to parents Jospeh and Esther (Wargo) Kuzma. Joyce married Ralph A. Margrif on September 17, 1966 in North Branch.
Mrs. Margrif had a thirty-year career with the State of Michigan. It began at the Lapeer State Home, the Lapeer Hospital for a bit and ended her career with many years as a secretary with the D.N.R. law enforcement side. One of her passions was gardening and flowers, in fact, she was a Master Gardener and part of the Herb Society. She played an integral part in the development of the Master Gardener garden at Suncrest, Lapeer. Joyce did like to travel and exercise. She was known for being very social and kind hearted; Joyce would help anyone she knew that was in need. Family was above everything, she especially enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s activities.
Mrs. Margrif is survived by her husband of 57 years: Ralph, daughters: Julie (Nick) Tumblin and Jennifer Baily, grandchildren: Joelle Tumblin, Jeremy Tumblin, Jaquelyn Bialy, Jayna Tumblin, Maddy Bialy, Joseph Bialy, great-grandchildren: Samson, Elijah, siblings: Joseph Kuzma, Jerry (Katie) Kuzma, Judy (Robert) Luttrell as well as multiple nieces & nephews that were dear to her. She was preceded in death by aforementioned parents.
Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Wednesday (12/27) at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Her funeral will be 11:00am Thursday December 28, 2023 at Muirs. The family will receive family & friends the hour prior to the funeral, 10-11am. Cremation will follow services.
