CHAMBERS, SHIRLEY M. "SHANTELLE" – Of Swartz Creek/Durand, age 77, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 18, 2021 at McLaren Select Specialty Hospital.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation has taken place.

Shirley was born in Osceola, Arkansas on June 21, 1944, the daughter of the late Arvel and Eunice (Thomas) Bryant. On March 22, 1969 she married Joseph Chambers in Flint at First Presbyterian Church. Shantelle loved spending her winters in Florida by the ocean. She enjoyed travel and was the best Cinnamon Roasted Nut Lady around. She will be remembered for her compassion, quick wit and humor. She was a puzzeler, played poker and amongst other things was a passionate reader. Among all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are husband, Joseph "Tony";
3 children, Randy (Amy) Hansen, Daiquiri (Rich) Laviolette and Melissa Svarc;
grandchildren, Taylor (Sean) Snedeker, Cheyenne Hansen, Carter Cunningham, Lexingtyn and Londyn Laviolette, Levan and Lincoln Svarc;
siblings, Glenda White, Vada Riederich, Cliff (Carole) Bryant, Cathern Johnson and Mary (Charles) Lucas;
and many loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Judy Hicks and Cindy Bell.
