GROSSO, Madilyn Mae - of Flint, Michigan, age 3, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Friday, October 22, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM-1 PM Friday, October 22, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home.
Maddie was born in Port Huron, Michigan on June 7, 2018, daughter of Alissa Budziak and David Grosso. She was such a happy baby. Maddie was full of sunshine and smiles even through the darkest days. She loved to be outside, in the water, and playing with her "babies." Maddie loved to cuddle, watch Cocomelon and Word Party while eating her favorite foods. She loved to be comforted by her binkies and had to have one for each hand. Maddie loved her big sissy, Natalie, and they enjoyed singing songs and tickle fights. She was strong-willed and stubborn, fighting through to her last day.
Maddie is survived by her mother, Alissa Budziak; father, David Grosso; her 4-year-old sister, Natalie Grosso; great-grandmother, Jackie Smith; grandparents, Lisa and James Bollinger, Pamela Smith, and Fred Budziak; 4 aunts, CIOCIAS Karen and Cheryl Smith, Aunt Tiffany and Aunt Ashley; 3 uncles, Uncle Mathew, Uncle Brandon and Uncle Nick; along with many cousins, Emerson, Lily-Jean, Ryland, Madden, Everley and Connor. Maddie was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Marvin Smith, Leonard and Mary Jane Budziak, Gerald and Johanna Garnett, Jay and Lorraine Bollinger, and her uncle, Eric Kimball.
The family would like to thank St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Hospice of Michigan Anchors Program for Children, for their care and compassion.
