PACHECO, Avelina – of Marmaduke, Arkansas, formerly of Clio, Michigan, age 93, died on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in West Vienna Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 4PM until 8PM, and on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 6PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.
Avelina was born on September 23, 1932, in Pleasanton, Texas, to the late Gustavo and Rebecca (Gonzales) Delgado. She loved cooking for her family and was well known for her homemade tortillas, which were always a favorite. She also took great pride in her garden and enjoyed the time she spent tending to it. Avelina was spunky and feisty, with a personality that brought plenty of laughter and kept those around her on their toes. Most important to Avelina was her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she was happiest simply being together with the people she loved most.
Surviving are: Children: John (Sheryl) Pacheco, Rudy (Nancy) Pacheco, Adam Pacheco, Bob (Lisa) Pacheco, Eva Edgar, and Jerry (Michelle) Pacheco; Grandchildren: LaRee (Jody) Mullins, Tammy Pattee, Jayne (James) Moore, Tony (Shauna) Pacheco, Kelli (Zach) Custoras, Kristi (Tom) Dolan, Adam (Jess) Pacheco, Lucy Gould (Fiancé Caleb Wills), Samantha Waskiewicz, David Pacheco (Fiancée Tori), Brian Pacheco, Ben (Marissa) Pacheco, Lenny Edgar, Jesse Edgar, and Samuel Gould; 21 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren. Avelina was also preceded in death by: Daughter, Becky Pattee; Grandson, Steve Phillips; Great granddaughter, Emma Nicole Dolan; Great-great granddaughter, Addison Faith Mullins; Brother, David Delgado; Son in law, Mike Higgins.
