Latimer, Marian- of Montrose, age 81, died Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Burial to follow to Flushing Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 12PM until 7PM and on Wednesday from 10AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society Association.
Marian was born June 6, 1941, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Ralph and Esther (Wheeler) Hays. She worked for General Motors on the production line for 28 years. Marian enjoyed gardening, dancing and was always working on crafts. Above all she loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
Surviving are: sons: Rick (Deanna) Latimer and Rodger (Brenda) Edmonds; grandchildren: Rachelle (Kris) Kirby, Zachary (Hallie) Byrd, Joshua (Ashlee) Latimer, Jessica Doggett, and Kasie Hamilton, Kayla Hamilton- Hajdo; several great grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Carl Latimer; daughter, Vicki Byrd; sister, Marie Clark; brother, Marvin Hays.
