FISCHER, DEBRA MICHELLE – Of Flint, age 52, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
A private service will take place at the Swartz Funeral Home, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Visitation 1-5 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her grandson, Jake Fischer, donation envelopes provided at the funeral home.
Debra was born in Flint, Michigan on March 18, 1968, the daughter of Carl and Charlene (Norris) Roberts.
She married her beloved husband, Richard Fischer on September 11, 1999 and was married to him for 21 years.
Debra loved being a grandma to Jake.
She enjoyed traveling and was loved by so many friends.
Debbie had the most infectious laugh and her smile would light up a room.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Fischer;
son, Christopher Fischer;
grandson, Jake Fischer;
sister, Ann (Mike) Terry;
brother, Carl Bubba Roberts; many nieces and nephews;
close friends, Becky, Dawn, Renee, Mary, Charlene and countless others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Charlene and sister, Karen.
