James Theodore Salyer, age 88, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
He was born May 31, 1933 in Flint to the late Theodore and Mary Salyer. James proudly served his country with the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a past commander with Clio VFW Post 1452. He was also a member of the UAW Local 598 until his retirement.
James is survived by his daughters, Ann Marie (Ron) Corbin and Pamela Salyer; his grandchildren: Barbara Wright, Jason James Cupps, Alisha Corbin; his great-grandchildren; and half-sister, Betty Stull. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean in 2011; parents; and four siblings.
Visitors may pay their respects from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E Hill Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the above location. Graveside service with military honors following at Flint Memorial Park.
