Thomas Jones 74 passed away April 4, 2022, surrounded by his family. Tom was born 11-14-1947, to the late Robert and Myrtle (St. Charles) Jones. He is survived by his loving wife and childhood sweetheart of 59 years Katie (Mary Kay) He was an amazing father to his 4 children who he loved dearly; Dennis (Genevive), Angela (Mike),Tom, Chad (Kerri). Grandchildren; Justin, Ray, Brandon (Michelle), Kory (Nancy), Kameron (Shelby), Elisa (Gabriel), Ashley (Cody), Alissa, Ryan, Kenny who held a special place in his heart. He was also blessed with 4 great-grandchildren; Aria, Anthony, Kolton and Levi. His sisters Patty and Barbara (Bob). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bucky and brother in-law Gary.
Tom worked over 30 years before retiring in 1999 from AC Spark Plug, after which he and Katie (Mary Kay) spent many summers with the family and grandchildren at their hideaway in Holiday Shores. Tom also enjoyed keeping busy grooming the golf course while he was there. The two of them had many friends and made many wonderful memories. Tom loved to hunt and watch the wildlife out back from his porch. Tom was most comfortable just sitting in his chair with his best buddies Cody and Bandit watching football or Nascar. Tom was well respected and loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 6th from 4-8pm and 11 AM Thursday until the time of service at 1PM
Service will be held 1PM Thursday April 7th at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Chapel 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. |
