Krishan L. Bedi, 74, of Fostoria, Ohio passed Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Doctors Hospital Ohio Health in Columbus with his family by his side. Pooja services were held at the Dowling Funeral Home, 7509 New West Road at King (King Rd. between Sylvania and Central Ave.) Toledo, Ohio 43617, 419-841-8111. Cremation followed at Toledo Memorial Park. Krishan was born February 3, 1936 to Amalok and Vidhya (Mayal) Bedi in India. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Nirmal (Khullar) Bedi; children, Anil (Rubena) Bedi, Sunil Bedi, Sapna (Anirudh) Khaitan, Kimberly J. Bedi; brothers, Prakash (Aruna) Bedi, Raj Bedi, Charanjeet (Manju) Bedi; sister, Krishana Puri and grandchildren, Nicholas, India, Zain and Victoria-Saiya. Krishan Bedi graduated from IISc Bangalore in 1957 with Bsc. honors and later received a Masters Degree in Engineering from the University of Chicago and Wayne State University. Along with a distinguished career in Chrysler corporation and later General Dynamic, was an avid stock and real estate investor. Krishan enjoyed reading, traveling the world and people. Krishan was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a trustworthy friend. He is loved and will be dearly missed by us all.
