Warren, Mark A. – of Davison, formerly Clio, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at McLaren Lapeer Regional Center. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow to Flint Memorial Park. Mark was born May 10, 1962, to the late Gordon Warren and Brenda Jacqueline Warren- Hawkins. He attended and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1980. Driven by his love for literature, Mark pursued his higher education at the University of Michigan, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in English. He married Nola Reed on February 16, 1985. Mark worked for Dupont/Axalta for 30 years, retiring in 2022. He had an insatiable appetite for life's simple joys, finding solace in the company of cherished friends during spirited poker games at the VFW Halls. His passion extended to classic car shows, where he delighted in the artistry and craftsmanship of each vehicle. Mark's love for the eclectic and the old-fashioned led him to spend countless hours exploring antique shops and treasure-hunting at local garage sales, his eyes always gleaming with excitement at each newfound discovery. But perhaps Mark's greatest source of joy was found in the serenity of Sand Lake, where he basked in the tranquility of the water, embracing the splendor of nature with unbridled enthusiasm. The memories created on these shores will forever be treasured and serve as a testament to his love for the beauty of the world around him.
