Mr. David D. Sawyer, 38 affectionately known as Da’Da’, of Toledo, OH, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in Wayne County, MI during the course of his employment as a driver for the Rush Trucking Company. He completed his high school education in the Chicago Public Schools. Surviving are children, Sherrell and David Sawyer, Jr.; grandson, Jamarion Sawyer; mother, Connie (Johnny) Sawyer; father, David Robinson; brothers, LaShon (Ivy) Sawyer and Daniel Williams; sisters, Elaine Sawyer, Dessie (Jarman) Kilgore and Krystal Williams-White and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2011 in The C. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, 1629 Nebraska Avenue. Funeral Services at 11 a.m. at The Indiana MB Church, 640 Indiana Avenue. Dr. J.E. Roberts, Pastor; The Reverend Jolly Davis, Officiant.
