Ricky G. Story
Age 75 of Corunna, MI passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at Nelson House Funeral Home, Tuesday September 23rd at noon, with Pastors Steve Rau and Eric Anderson, officiating. The family will receive friends for a viewing on Monday September 22nd from 3-7 PM.
Rick was born on June 17, 1950 in Flint, MI and was the son of Martin and Betty (Vincent) Story.
He graduated from Carmen High School in 1969.
He married his high school sweetheart, and the love of his life, Rena Pierce on February 7, 1970.
Rick founded and pastored Shiawassee Harvest Church for 45 years. He dedicated his life to the ministry and to his family, loved ones and community. It’s hard to put into words the breadth and depth of his commitment to helping people come to know Jesus. He has left a legacy of faith and purpose that has touched many and will continue for years to come.
Rick is survived by his wife of more than 55 years, Rena; his children Kimberly (Eric) Anderson, Daniel (Keri) Story, Anna (Steve) Rau, Katherine (James) Filan and James (Whitney) Story; grandchildren Melody (Steven) Humbard, Crystal (Josh) Bader, Aaron Story, Caleb (Maddie) Story, Meredith (Juan) Salas, Isabel Rau, Ramsey Rau, Jack Filan, Jocelyn Filan, Evie Story and Stanley Story; great-grandchildren Adeline, Jude, Ashton, Bentley and Nova; brothers Tom (Joanne) Story and Robert (Dorene) Story; many other loving church family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father Martin and mother Betty.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Shiawassee Harvest Church.
