Ruth M. Bruntz, age 88, of Toledo, passed away, Sunday, December 19, 2010 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born April 28, 1922 in Pemberville, Ohio to Ervin and Ida (Borcherding) Ernsthausen. Ruth was employed at the former Kessler Sales Corporation and Brush Wellman. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Maumee. Ruth was also an active member of the Compass Club where she organized many bus trips, and the Maumee Eagles.
The widow of Willard Bruntz, Ruth is survived by her daughters, Karen (Phillip) Haubert and Brenda (Ron) Fork; grandchildren, Eric (Rachel) Haubert, Jennifer Tyson and Diane (Jason) Taulker; great grandson, Tucker Haubert; sister, Jean (Pat) Turner; and special significant other, Harry Myers.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday, December 21, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee. Visitation will continue Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 10:00 am in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 112 East Wayne Street, Maumee, OH followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg, OH. The family requests memorial contributions to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Compass Club or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
