IDALSKI, Daniel Allan - age 70, of Flushing, passed away March 27, 2024. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1209 Coutant St., Flushing, MI 48433 with a luncheon to follow the services.
Daniel was born July 4, 1953 in Alpena, MI, the son of Gerald James and Donalee Phyllis (Hines) Idalski. He married Patricia E. Coote on July 19, 1986. Daniel retired from General Motors and then retired from Court Street Village where he was the maintenance supervisor. He was an avid University of Michigan, Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings fan. He enjoyed animals, nature, golfing, fishing, music, being outdoors and working in his yard and especially spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and family. Daniel had a great sense of humor, loved the Lord and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Surviving are: wife, Patricia; two children, Matt Idalski and Becky (Eric) Bair; grandchildren, Trevor, Saige, Isaac, Matthew, Gavin, and Everly; siblings, Phil (Toni) Idalski and Mary Pereault; siblings-in-law, Debbi (Tom) Williams and Tony (Vicki) Coote; many nieces and nephews. Special friends, Harold and Karen Ferguson and John and Karen Popovits. He was preceded in death by: his parents; Gerald and Donalee Idalski; brother, Timothy Idalski; mother-in-law, Katherine Cartwright; father-in-law, James Coote; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Candy Coote.
