ROSS, Viola E. (Endres) – of Birch Run, age 89, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at her residence. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Viola was born December 25, 1924 in Cincinnati to the late Albert and Florence (Vineski) Endres. She lived in Birch Run most of her life. She was a 1943 graduate of Birch Run High School. Viola married Archie M. Ross on November 14, 1947. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1994. Mrs. Ross retired from AC Spark Plug in 1987. She loved dogs, especially Daffie.
Surviving are: children, Roger (Sandra) Ross of Birch Run, Ann Marie (Michael) Quaderer of Birch Run, Marijoyce (Glenn) Harris of Chesterhill, OH, Bruce (Kimberly) Ross of Adrian; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; an expected great great grandson; sister, Dorothy Smith (partner D.C. Doyle); sisters-in-law, Velda Voelker, Isabelle Lawton and Hilda Lohr; nieces and nephews; extended family, Mike, Kenda and Matt Hogan. She was also preceded in death by: brother, Albert Endres; a granddaughter; and a grandson. The family extends a special thanks to Heartland Hospice and Medilodge of Montrose for the love and care their mother received during her care.
