Carol L. Brown, age 83, of Grand Blanc, Michigan passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Carol was born September 4, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to the late Wilbur and Marjorie Sparks.
On February 8, 1974 in Grand Blanc, Michigan, Carol married the love of her life, Edward Brown. They spent many years adventuring around the world together. Carol had the utmost faith and trust in her husband's travel planning. Carol was an avid golfer. There was time when she golfed 18 holes a day with her friends. Carol and the Brown family are loyal University of Michigan football fans. Every fall, it was the unwritten rule no celebrations on Saturdays. It was Michigan football time. She was a wonderful decorator. Carol transformed their home for each holiday. Carol was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, Edward Brown; daughter, Staci (Steven Wendt) Slater; daughter-in-laws: Dora George, Kathy George; stepchildren: Jeff Brown, Julie Brown, James (Kim) Brown; grandchildren: Travis George, Matthew (Melissa) George, Christopher (Tiffany Kelley) Slater, Devin George, Dan (Nichole) Brown, Jeffrey (Stephanie Bates) Brown, David (Kaitlyn) Brown, Aaron Brown, Shannon Murphy, Katie Roman; great grandchildren: David George, Remy Slater, Isaiah Brown, Maxwell Brown, Harper Brown, Sophia Brown, Penelope George, and Lily George. She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert George and Richard George.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Hill Funeral Home - 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral service will follow at 1pm at Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be at Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Voices for Children Advocacy Center.
