CRAIGHEAD, Lynn Marie - Of Flint, age 66, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Hurley Medical Center.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225, West Hill Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11th and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until the time of service.
Lynn was born in Flint, Michigan on December 4, 1955, the daughter of John K. and Velma Mae (Cryderman) Waynick. On July 17, 1982, she married Carl S. Craighead in Mount Morris, Michigan. Lynn was a third-grade teacher for Bendle Public Schools in Burton. She was a part the Michigan Education Association, the Bendle Education Association and one of “The Bendle Beauties”. Lynn was also a faithful member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and Bray Road Baptist Church.
Surviving are Husband, Carl Stephen Craighead;
Daughter, Lily Kai Craighead;
Sister, Diane Colleen (Mike) Duncan;
Mother-in-law, Vivian Craighead;
Sister-in-law, Nancy (Dan) Crowley;
Cousins, Beth (Dick) Miller, Kevin Waynick, Dawn (Pat) Hazzard, Wayne Harburn and Albert (Jan) Seleksy;
Nephews, Jason (Rachel) Britton, Jonathan (Jaime) Britton and Matthew (Catherine) Crowley.
She was preceded in death by parents, John and Velma Waynick, grandparents and cousin, Carol Harburn.
