HAZARD, Freda Darlene (Davenport) – of Flint, MI, age 86, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Shane Bengry officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2022 and 10-11 AM Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice, in Freda’s memory.
Freda was born in Flint, MI on November 6, 1935, daughter of the late Harley and Aletha (Vinson) Davenport. She married William J. Hazard on February 6, 1954 and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1984. Freda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Freda is survived by 4 children, William G. (Sharon) Hazard, Rhonda Hazard, Randy E. (Martina) Hazard and Patrick (Dawn) Hazard; 5 grandchildren, Koree, Ryan (Mallory), Christopher, Amanda (Daniel) and Derek; 6 great-grandchildren, Zackery, Riley, Kadence, Landon, Josephine and Liam; sister, Yuvonne Hall; many other loving family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Aletha Davenport; husband, William J. Hazard; 3 siblings, Joyce Newberry, Gordon Davenport and Harley Davenport.
