MAPLES, Thomas Joseph - Of Burton, age 82, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225, West Hill Road, Flint,
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8pm Sunday and 12 Noon Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Thomas was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 1, 1935, the son of the late Rex and Sarah (Baughey) Maples. On June 20, 1959, he married Sarah Layne. Thomas had a love for cars and hot rods. He was the proud owner of Maples Auto Collision.
Surviving are wife, Sarah;
children, Craig Maples, Tod Maples, Scot Maples and Robby Maples;
grandchildren, Lindsey Maples, Shelby Maples and Brandon Maples;
great-grandchildren, Brodie and Briar;
Surviving siblings, Virginia E. Scott and Donald R. Maples.
