Perkins, Stephen- of Montrose, age 69, passed away Monday, April 9, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family at his side. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.
Stephen was born April 29, 1952, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Raymond and Betty (Wright) Perkins. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a gun and multitool collector. Stephen enjoyed spending time with his wife, trail riding and visiting friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family playing euchre, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Those grandchildren held a special place in his heart. Stephen had a wonderful sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Grace Hospice of Flint, and the caregivers, Melissa Norris, Joanne French, and Christine Chisholm, for their loving compassionate care.
Surviving him are his loving wife Cynthia Perkins, his daughter Brittany (Matthew) Johnson of Montrose, his grandchildren: Lance, Bradley, Bjorn and Aurora, his brother Robin (Karen) Perkins of Flint, his niece Dana (Harold) Volkening of Gaines. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond and mother Betty, his son Brad and grandson Landon. |
