Davis, Beatrice M. – of Clio, age 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the Durand Senior Care. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. The family will receive visitors on Saturday at the funeral home from 11AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
Beatrice was born January 16, 1932, in Birch Run, to the late Harry and Esther (Easlick) LaRocque. She delighted in canning creating delicious preserves that she generously shared with family and friends. Camping trips were a highlight in her life, where she found solace in the serenity of nature. With a needle and thread in hand, Beatrice would skillfully sew beautiful creations, and her delectable baking brought warmth and happiness to those lucky enough to taste her treats. Beatrice was a beloved member of Oakley Community Church. She enjoyed visits to the Clio Senior Center which brought her immense joy, as she connected with others, shared laughter, and created lasting memories.
Surviving are: Children: Belinda (Bob) White, Dale Davis, and Susan (Chuck) Petrosky; 9 Grandchildren; She was blessed with several great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren; Brother, Donald LaRocque. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Davis; Sons: Raymond and Douglas Davis; Granddaughter, Megan Crawford; Great grandchildren: Tabitha and Jacob; Sisters: Francine "Harriet" Fortune , and Sarah Morgan.
