Brian Keith Harris, 63, of Lapeer formerly of Flint, died Saturday December 18, 2021. He was born June 29, 1958 in Flint to parents Gilbert and Wanda (Tyler) Harris.
Brian has owned and operated Brian’s Family Restaurant, Lapeer, since 1988. He loved to cook and food in general and the restaurant is a legacy that will continue through his children and the many loyal employees and customers that have become family over the years. In his free time; Brian liked boating and fishing, bonfires, cookouts, going to the casino, fireworks, trips to Arkansas and drinking coffee on the porch with friends and family. He has touched the lives of many throughout Lapeer and Genesee counties and will be dearly missed.
Brian is survived by his children: Marilyn Harris, Jessie Harris, Jared Harris and Halie Harris, his mother: Wanda Harris, siblings: Gwen (Gary) Gilbert, Jerry Harris, Larry Harris, Janette (Kerry) Willis as well as the mother of his children: Melissa Harris. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Gary, Jim and Rick Harris, a baby sister: Joyce as well as his father: Gilbert Harris.
Cremation has been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. The family intends on scheduling a memorial service in the near future. Please reach out to the family member you know, with your support and stories.
