CRICKMORE (KISH), IRMA – Of Grand Blanc, age 98, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at The Oaks at Woodfield.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 7234 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Pastor Nathan Allen officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.
Visitation 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mrs. Crickmore will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service.
Irma was born in Flint, Michigan on October 1, 1925, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kalocsi) Kish.
She married the love of her life, Maurice A. Crickmore in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1979.
She had lived in the Grand Blanc, Michigan area since 1965.
Mrs. Crickmore was employed by Citizens Bank and the floral department at Kroger.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church Grand Blanc, MI.
She was a volunteer at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
She loved to cook, bake, garden, read, make floral arrangements and travel.
Irma leaves behind her daughter, Kim (Timothy) Houle of Grand Blanc;
twin grandsons, Aaron (Kelsey) Houle of Flushing and Trevor (Laura) Houle of Grand Blanc;
son, Scott (Mary) Crickmore of Carol Stream, IL;
grandchildren, Susan (Joseph) Williams of Addison, IL, Daniel Crickmore of Munich, Germany;
5 great-grandchildren, Bryan, Nate, Gareth, Noah and Miles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Crickmore; parents, Michael and Mary Kish and brother, John Kish.
