KIRBY, Larry Douglas, Jr. “Doug”, 60, of Grand Blanc, passed away Monday night at University Hospital in Ann Arbor.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 28th, 11 a.m. at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Rd. Doug’s cousin, Kerry Kirby will lead the memorial service.
Doug was born on June 8th, 1955 to the late Larry Douglas Kirby, Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia (Mancour);
children, Jay (wife Katie), Troy (girlfriend Courtney), Tony (fiancée Erin), and Annamarie, with Lauren Spano (divorced);
grandchild, Isla;
brother, Scott;
sister, Lisa and husband Brent (Martin).
His love for his friends and family was always visible, and he will forever be remembered for his unwavering, kind demeanor and unconditional love. Doug will also be remembered for the positive impact he had on many young lives while coaching youth baseball and football through Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation.
