KRUEGER, Joan R. – of Flint, age 82, passed away April 19, 2016 at Melody Gardens Care Home. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, April 22, 2016 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint; Pastor Gary L. Beck officiating. Burial will be in Richfield Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and 10-11 AM Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Joan was born in Saginaw, MI on January 17, 1934, daughter of the late Leo and Esther (Sieggren) Anderson. She married Warren Krueger in Saginaw, MI on May 6, 1961 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Joan was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and worked for Michigan Bell Telephone in Saginaw. She enjoyed reading, cooking, taking care of her family. Joan especially loved her grandchildren.
Joan is survived by her husband of 54 years, Warren; children, Karl (Brenda) Krueger, Gayle Krueger (Joe Forgette); grandchildren, Lance LeDuc, Miles LeDuc, Melanie Krueger, Sara Krueger; many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul in 1966 and sisters, Elaine Fayfer, Donna Hill and Ruth Anderson.
