BLONDIN, John L. “Jack”. – of Clio, age 94, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Angel Manor in Clio. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30AM Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church – 230 E. Vienna St., in Clio. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Coughlin officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery with full Military Honors. Family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Friday from 3PM until 8PM and at the church on Saturday from 9:30AM until the time of Mass at 10:30AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Friday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Surviving are: Children: Lori Ann (Dr. Thomas) Hanzek, Sandra Lee (Timothy) Shuker, Tom (Lisa) Blondin; 13 grandchildren; Many great grandchildren. John was also preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Blondin in 1997 and sister, Maxine Smyth in 2016. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the loving caregivers with Heartland Hospice: Leslie, Robin, and Jimica, and the staff at Angel Manor for all their love and care.
